  • Last month was National Protect your Hearing Month. Here’s some helpful Hearing Health Tips from HLAA:
  1. Hearing loss is an invisible disability – speak up and ask people to speak clearly
  2. Protect your ears – Lawnmowers, power tools and music may be loud enough to affect your hearing
  3. Get a regular hearing screening – Check out Hearing Loss Assoc. of America (HLAA.com) for a professional screening here: https://www.hearingloss.org/hearing-help/find-a-professional/
  • Your voice is wanted! As a Hard of Hearing or Deaf individual, your voice is unique. Your voice can help improve how our patent-pending devices recognize words. Choose a fun script from our web page and record your voice https://vuspeech.com/submit-recording/
  • Comment from Linda Levy Cartier, mother of Alexandra Cartier, our Founder re: My Eyes are My Ears: “My thoughts beautifully expressed. Yes, I, too, feel these pains. And I feel them for my daughter Alexandra Francesca Levy Cartier – a beautiful name which I’m not sure she has ever heard the way I do.” See the full poem on our blog.Mascots at Walk4Hearing
  • We’re happy to report that our Vü Team raised $375 in our first Walk for Hearing event. This national event from the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) is celebrating 15 years of raising awareness and uniting people with Hearing Loss. The Buffalo Walk raised more than $11,000 this year. Congratulations to all virtual walkers and thank you to our family, friends and colleagues who supported them.
